Internet Tanpa Rokok: Static Website & Research Publication Directory

Project Overview

Internet Tanpa Rokok is a coalition of organizations advocating for a clean and safe internet — free from tobacco advertising, promotion, and sponsorship. Their mission is to push back against the growing presence of tobacco marketing in digital spaces across Indonesia.

What I Did

One-Page Scrolling Website

Developed the website based on a design provided by their designer. I chose a static Bootstrap approach to match the client’s need for a lightweight, fast one-page scrolling experience — no CMS overhead, easy to maintain, and performant out of the box.

Research Publication Directory

A year later, the coalition trusted me again for a second project: a dedicated publication page to house their research output. I built this on WordPress with WooCommerce, which I repurposed as a research directory — each entry represents a published PDF report, complete with a download button. It gives their audience easy access to all released studies in one organized place.

Outcome

The coalition now has two complementary web assets: a clean advocacy landing page for public-facing communication, and a structured research directory that establishes their credibility as a knowledge-based organization.
