Fragment of Me 2024

Desember, 12 2024. An update on my side jobs: it seems like it’s time to take a break as the year comes to an end. Projects from FNFT and charcoal briquettes have wrapped up; now, I’m just waiting for the second payment. There’s also one ERP project I mentioned here that seems to be on hold. Hopefully, I’ll secure new projects next year.

Desember, 12 2024. A very good progress from Info Jateng Pos! Currently, our website has reached the stage of earning IDR 100,000 per month since switching to a new WordPress theme, which has doubled our AdSense revenue. It seems we are also gaining momentum from the increased ad volume towards the end of the year.

Desember, 05 2024. I am currently working on SEO projects for the website of an ERP company. My responsibilities include creating content briefs for writers using ChatGPT. It’s quite interesting because, in this job, I utilize AI to perform competitor analysis and create outline recommendations with ChatGPT. Some of the things I’ve learned from this project are:

• Create clear and consistent prompts that can be implemented in the workflow.
• Proper clustering is crucial to enable internal linking during article production.

Some improvements that can be applied to this project:

• Develop an app script to reduce repetitive tasks.
• Create a prompt to detect duplicate keywords using ChatGPT.
• Establish a procedure for double-checking work.

November 17, 2024. I’m currently in Semarang right now. It’s quite a relief to leave Jakarta for a while. The city is bustling, like any other big city, but I think the people here are “more laid-back,” especially in Tembalang, where there are lots of students. For some reason, I’m reminded of my friend, Laili, who used to study in Jogja. Maybe she visited Semarang at some point too. Ah, it’s been a while since I’ve heard from her. I hope you’re doing well, Lel.

November 12, 2024 Hi, it’s been a while since I last updated here. A few weeks ago, I was busy working on a landing page for an organization aimed at promoting an internet free of cigarette ads. I worked on it with Wira, my friend from elementary school. It was exhausting but also enjoyable. Here are a few things I learned from this project:

• How to manage versions on GitHub
• Connecting a GitHub repo to cPanel directly using the terminal
• Using WordPress as a headless CMS (initially, I wanted to use Strapi, but I couldn’t since the cPanel didn’t support Node.js 18)

August 28, 2024 June 10, 2024. Info Jateng Pos successfully achieved 500 clicks in 28 days. Cool. Let’s break the next record.

May 22, 2024. Info Jateng Pos has achieved its first 100 clicks! Our focus now is on creating articles from golden keywords to get our site out of the “sandbox.” This golden keyword method has proven effective because the articles we write easily make it into the Top 10, even though our website is still new. The issue is that the content we create is too thin, which might have a negative impact in the future. We will think about it later!

May, 12 2024. My focus this year is on building a digital asset, which is a blog. I know, it sounds old-fashioned and outdated, but as someone who has been involved in the SEO world for a long time, it feels incomplete if I don’t have a blog that actually makes money through my personal blog projects.
